XLRAS^® is a PC based system, running on MS Windows. It is available as a single or multi-user system, and can be used stand-alone, or for best results, integrated with your host system. 

In XLRAS you will record all the details of you outwards reinsurance protection, including coverage, reinstatement terms and underlying security. Once you have received a download of losses from your host claims system (ask IT to give us a call), you will direct XLRAS in creating the route that losses may by their nature take through your reinsurance program. You need not be concerned with quantum, as XLRAS will take care of that for you. If you have hundreds of losses, following a similar route, show XLRAS what you want and it will all be done for you, in just a few seconds. If a particular loss is an exception to the rule, you will have the comfort of knowing that you'll be able to show XLRAS exactly how you want it processed.

When you are ready, start the "Calculation Routine" and wonder at the speed at which XLRAS works through your losses, finding every ounce of cover as you told it to. Then sit back and decide whether you agree with some or all of what XLRAS shows as "Recovery Now Due". Produce any of the working reports you might need, before starting the "Production Routine". You have now committed the recoveries you authorised and you can print or email your collection documents, at your leisure. The results and underlying statistics can then be passed via the interface to the host credit control system or to ReWin,  Blem Information Management’s comprehensive reinsurance accounting and credit control system.
